The Back to School Season
Worldwide, 57 million children did not have the opportunity to go back to school this year. While this number is staggering and overwhelming to comprehend, we know that every effort to help a child go to school makes a huge difference in their life. This fall, we are celebrating that through the generosity of our sponsors and donors, CCI has provided the opportunity for over 2500 children to go back to school with the supplies they needed! These children’s lives will be deeply impacted by this blessing and we know the education they will receive means more opportunities for their future!
This fall there are a few projects that have been underway, such as building a new well and kitchen for Moulin School, and new classrooms for Vion School in Haiti. With these current projects, CCI is focusing on giving more children the opportunity to receive the gift of a quality Christ-centred education, while also providing our currently registered children better facilities while they learn.
We are also excited to tell you that our Gift Catalogue will be coming out in the mail around Thanksgiving! Through CCI’s Gift Catalogue, there is another opportunity to continue giving, including towards school supplies for next year.
Another opportunity to impact the life of a child is through our Unsponsored Children’s Fund. You can give a child on our waiting list, such as Kensley from Haiti, the opportunity to attend school and receive the basic benefits of education. Help us provide children with immediate education as they wait for a sponsor.
